Scope of these terms
These terms describe use of Polar Nature at stormiq.cc, including its articles and contact-draft feature. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. They do not grant rights over third-party material beyond the permissions provided by its rights holder, and they do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
Reasonable use
Use the site lawfully and respect other people and rights holders. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability or security, introduce malicious code, or use the site's identity to misrepresent an affiliation or endorsement. Do not deliberately overload the service or use information obtained here to infringe another person's rights.
We may take proportionate steps to protect the service against misuse, including restricting abusive requests where appropriate. These terms do not prohibit linking, lawful quotation, accessibility tools or uses otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Purpose and limitations
Polar Nature provides educational explanations. It is not a source of operational clearances, emergency assistance, personalized medical advice or expedition training. Current official rules, qualified professionals and responsible operators take precedence when an activity requires them.
Accuracy and changing information
We work to provide traceable sources and to distinguish measurements, interpretations and uncertainty. Sources can change, and a revision date is not a guarantee that every external service or real-world condition is current. Please identify the article and disputed statement when preparing a correction.
Text and images
The publication contains separately written explanatory text and licensed reference imagery. Image credits identify the creator, original file page, applicable license and modifications. A license attached to an image does not automatically license the entire website, and our wording cannot override a third-party rights holder's terms.
Reuse
Linking to an article is welcome. For reuse of images, follow the license linked in the credit, including attribution and share-alike obligations where applicable. Do not describe an image as a Polar Nature field photograph. Other copying or republication must respect applicable copyright and any permission from the rights holder.
Draft tool and external sites
The contact tool prepares and copies text locally; it does not send a message or create a delivery obligation. We cannot guarantee the availability or accuracy of external resources. Links are provided for evidence and context rather than an endorsement of every statement on the destination site.
Possible future advertising
We may introduce advertisements in the future. Any actual advertising and related privacy choices will be described when introduced. An advertisement or external link does not make Polar Nature a party to an agreement you enter into with another provider. Assess that provider's terms and claims before relying on its services.
Availability and responsibility
The site and its educational material are provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors or suitability for a particular expedition, professional decision or other individual purpose. We may correct, update or remove content and change features. These qualifications do not override any warranty or obligation that applicable law makes mandatory.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the site. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
Changes and questions
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the publication or its features. The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate; a revision does not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
